Product Specialist – Orthopedics (Victoria West)
to join our growing Australian team.

This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of an established territory covering Western Victoria and to work closely with surgeons, theatre staff, and healthcare professionals in delivering high-quality orthopedic and sports medicine solutions.

About the Role

As a Product Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and growing CONMED's Orthopedics portfolio across Western Victoria, including Geelong, Ballarat, Werribee, Sunbury, and surrounding regions. This is a home-based, field-focused role requiring strong relationship management and clinical engagement skills.

You will work closely with the Sales Manager, Orthopedic Director, and the wider VIC team, supported by a strong onboarding and mentoring program.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow sales within the Western Victoria territory
  • Build strong, long-term relationships with surgeons, nurses, and theatre staff
  • Provide in-theatre product support and technical assistance
  • Support orthopedic and sports medicine procedures
  • Identify new business opportunities and expand existing accounts
  • Deliver product training and education to healthcare professionals
  • Manage territory planning, reporting, and forecasting
  • Maintain strong knowledge of CONMED's product portfolio and market trends
  • Ensure high levels of customer service and compliance

About You

Essential Requirements

  • Experience in medical device sales and/or Orthopaedics (preferred, flexibility for strong candidates)
  • Proven exposure to operating theatre environments
  • Strong commercial acumen and sales capability
  • Highly motivated, resilient, and self-driven
  • Ability to work independently in a home-based, field role
  • Willingness to travel regionally across Western Victoria
  • Based in, or close to, the Western Victoria territory

Desirable Experience

  • 1–2+ years in Orthopedics or sports medicine
  • Experience managing regional or country territories
  • Strong attitude, learning mindset, and growth potential
