Who we are

For the Love Hospitality is a passionate and experienced group, run by sibling duo, Adam and Elisa Mariani. Venues include Elio's Place, Greta and Maverick, all located in the Melbourne CBD.

We have opportunities for talented and dynamic, full-time and casual, Chef de Partie and Commi chefs. Work with our senior chefs to prepare and present quality food of the highest standards. Availability to work a flexible roster including weekends and public holidays is a must.

A little about the venues

Elio's Place is a vibrant, European influenced bistro and bar, open early, up late, we offer breakfast, lunch and dinner, seven days a week. It's where old world European charm meets warm and welcoming hospitality.

Maverick offers breakfast and lunch menu with a modern flare, small wine list, cocktails and espresso, operating seven days a week. Located in the 80 Collins precinct which has become a go-to culinary centre in Melbourne CBD.

Greta is a European food and wine bar, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner menu, aperitivo and curated wine list Monday to Friday, with evening service from Wednesday to Friday.

Responsibilities

  • Adhere to food safety and occupational health and safety standards

  • Maintain consistently high quality in food preparation and service, leading to memorable dining experiences

  • Ability to work autonomously and within a team

  • Work with us to cultivate a cohesive team environment and positive work culture

  • Assist in development and creation of new seasonal menus and specials

Skills and Experience

  • Appropriate cooking qualifications or equivalent experience for the position you are applying for

  • Minimum 18 months proven experience in Australian kitchen operations

  • Proven ability to prepare quality food in a fast paced setting

  • Motivation, commitment and attention to detail

  • A passion for delicious, expertly prepared food
