Admin & Accounts Officer – Small Local Team

We're a small, locally owned electrical and air conditioning business based in Ashmore. We're looking for a reliable and organised Admin & Accounts Officer to join our team and help keep our office running smoothly.
This role is perfect for someone who enjoys variety, takes initiative, and wants to be part of a supportive local business. You'll be the first point of contact for our clients, handling reception duties while also managing day-to-day accounts and admin tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Answering phones and emails, managing bookings and scheduling jobs in ServiceM8
- Preparing and sending quotes and invoices
- Reconciling supplier invoices and payments in Xero
- Following up on overdue accounts and sending monthly statements
- Ordering materials and liaising with suppliers
- General reception and office administration duties
What We're Looking For:
- Previous experience in administration and accounts
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Professional phone manner and confident communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a small team environment
- Reliable, proactive, and eager to take ownership of your role
