At Karan & Co, we're partnering with a leading civil contractor preparing for major upcoming infrastructure projects across the Sunshine Coast region.

With a strong pipeline of TMR and urban projects on the horizon, this business is focused on building capability early, bringing in the right people before works officially commence.

We're seeking an experienced Construction Manager to play a key role in establishing project delivery capability across upcoming road and interchange projects, including the Tiaro Bypass and Mooloolah River Interchange.

About the Role:

Based from the Sunshine Coast, this role will lead delivery planning and early team development within the Civil Infrastructure team.

You'll be responsible for shaping project delivery approaches, mentoring engineers, and ensuring the business is positioned for success as projects are awarded.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee pre-delivery planning and set-up for upcoming road and bridge projects
  • Provide leadership and technical direction to site teams across the Sunshine Coast region
  • Engage with clients, consultants and internal stakeholders to align on project goals
  • Build and develop high-performing project teams ahead of project mobilisation
  • Drive a culture of safety, quality and collaboration on all works

About You:

  • Proven experience delivering major road or TMR projects as a Construction Manager or Senior Project Engineer
  • Strong understanding of TMR specifications and standards
  • Excellent people leadership and mentoring skills
  • A proactive, hands-on leader who enjoys building teams and capability early
  • Local experience across projects such as Sunshine Motorway, Beerburrum to Nambour or Cooroy to Curra will be highly regarded
