Opportunity based in the Sunshine Coast, enjoy the coastal lifestyle while working with a family-owned business. As an experienced Safety Officer, you'll support projects situated across the Sunshine Coast.

**About the Role**
You’ll be working alongside the Project Site Teams, reporting to the Project Manager, delivering health and safety outcomes on Civil Construction Projects by:

- Conducting site audits and inspections to ensure compliance with WHS policies and procedures
- Contribute to maintaining, recommending and implementing continuous improvements of WHSE programs
- Guide teams, providing instruction and continuous feedback to employees on safe working procedures
- Establish collaborative and supportive relationships to achieve effective safety outcomes
- Support and facilitate incident investigation processes

**About you**
As an experienced Safety professional, you'll demonstrate:

- Ability to plan and schedule Safety Programs
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office: Excel, Outlook, and Word
- Solid understanding of relevant legislation, regulation and industry best practices
- Knowledge of Government training polices and Indigenous Procurement
- Proof of Eligibility to Work in Australia
- Hold a current Drivers licence with reliable transport
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Certificate IV in WHS
