Horticulturalist

Due to continual growth and expansion of service offerings within SA, UrbanVirons Group (Urbans) is looking to engage full-time **Horticulturalist **to join our Horticulture division.

We pride ourselves in being people who really enjoy what we do, and we do it well. Urbans provide hands on practical training, up-skilling, promote trade qualifications, as well as encouraging supervisory and management diplomas.

**Qualifications & experience**
- Qualification in Horticulture or similar
- Proven experience and knowledge in maintaining public/commercial landscapes including irrigation
- Experience in operation of a range of mowers and small plant/equipment
- Drivers licence (MR favourable)
- White Card (or be willing to obtain)
- Chem cert/spray ticket (highly regarded)
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, including drug screen
- National Police Clearance
- DSCI clearance (or be willing to obtain)

**Highly Regarded**
- Cert I-II in Horticulture or significant, demonstrable Horticulture experience would be highly regarded, including:

- Experience in commercial ride-on rotary mowers and tractors (Manual)
- Experience in driving with trailers (Manual)
- Experience in implementing Workplace Health & Safety procedures and policies, including following SWMS
