Working with us at People First Bank as a Member Service Consultant, you will be the face of our business for our members and will be responsible for delivering consistent high quality customer service.
About the role
As a Member Service Consultant, you'll play a vital role in creating meaningful connections with our members. By actively listening, understanding their needs, and offering tailored solutions, you'll help guide them toward the right banking products and services. This role is based at our Munno Para branch offered on a support flexible part-time basis, 15-32 hours a week on a rotating roster, to support your work life balance, rosters are provided in 4-week periods and released one week in advance, requires full flexibility and availability Monday to Saturday, You will be supporting our northern branches, so a valid driver's licence and reliable transport are essential.
In this role, your passion for customer service will be crucial, as we are a customer-owned organisation dedicated to meeting our customers' needs. You will be empowered to have meaningful conversations with our customers. You will understand their financial position, goals and aspirations and help align our products to their needs, specialising in personal loans, credit cards, insurance, and financial planning services.
As part of our in-branch customer service team, you will support our members with their everyday banking needs, helping them navigate their financial journey with confidence. You'll assist new members in opening accounts, clearly explain our range of products and services, and ensure every interaction is smooth, professional, and personalised. From answering questions to completing documentation accurately, your role is key to delivering a positive and welcoming experience. We're looking for someone with excellent communication skills, a strong customer first attitude, and a genuine passion for helping others.
