The opportunity:

This role leads the strategic development and implementation of AIA Australia's Group Insurance Propositions to existing group partners. It is accountable for identifying and executing continuous improvement initiatives to partners and will collaborate with Client Leads to formulate a strategy that AIA's proposition meets each partners needs. The role will support all business unit reporting, including working closely with the GM of Product and Propositions in developing future strategic roadmaps across Group Insurance.

The role will be accountable for the delivery and implementation of partner uplifts, working with key stakeholders across technology, Vitality and Shared Value to ensure a seamless execution for each partner.

This role is base in either Melbourne or Sydney.

 

To do this successfully you will:

• Lead the development and execution of the strategic roadmap for Group Insurance
• Identify and develop market leading propositions that position AIA as a thought leader in the market.
• Collaborate with senior leaders across the enterprise to ensure key group insurance priorities are considered.
• Collaborate with client leads to align partner strategies with group insurance growth objectives and shared value principles.
• Support business unit reporting, including financial performance, partner satisfaction metrics and strategic initiative tracking,
• Drive continuous improvement across proposition development, informed by business reporting, market trends, competitor analysis and partner feedback.
• Responsible for leading the development of tactical and strategic roadmaps to uplift AIA's member and fund proposition across existing partners.
• Collaborate with change teams to implement requirements, provide necessary guidance to testers during WA process and serve as liaison between group partnerships, digital product owner and IT to assist or gather business requirements needed for system modifications, enhancement and implementations
• Take a program level view to resolve common issues with partners and responsible for resolving issues.

Successful applications will demonstrate:

• Group life insurance experience Group Life Insurance and an excellent understanding of product and proposition development.
• Strong commercial acumen
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, including proven experience in co-ordinating input from a number of contributors
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong skills in the Microsoft Office suite, particularly PowerPoint and Excel
• Thought leadership: ability to research, reimagine and articulate new ways forward, turning data/research into insight and insight into proposed actions
• Relationship management: influences, negotiates and engages. Effective consultation and liaison skills with the ability to build rapport
• Credible and reliable: bringing company and personal values to life every day. Acting with integrity, behaving with a high degree of emotional intelligence and organizational intuition
• Deep understanding of member and fund needs, behaviours and preferences with regards to Life Insurance
• Strong project delivery experience
• Ability to interpret changing regulatory environment and resulting impacts
• Ability to liaise and influence at all levels across AIA and external partners
