An opportunity has become available for a Commercial Glazing Estimator within our Aluminum & Glass Manufacturing Company. Our well-established company is growing and is looking to sustain reliability and development.

This role encompasses the preparation, tendering and negotiation of various sized quotations from a range of clientele.

You will require:

  • A demonstrable track record in successfully tendering on a broad spectrum of commercial/multi-level residential building projects with a minimum of 5 years Australian commercial experience
  • A good solid understanding of building methodology and Australian Standards
  • Proficiency in Softtech V6 Estimating software
  • The necessary skills to prepare tender submission & calculate the costs of construction for projects
  • Ability to effectively communicate, network & negotiate with internal & external personnel
  • Excellent problem solving skills to anticipate, identify & resolve problems at any stage
  • Good time management skills
  • Ability to create working budgets on every project
  • Working knowledge of AWS systems & AutoCad an advantage
