We are currently seeking an experienced Barista / All-Rounder to join our team at Sonny's in Murarrie. The are casual position offers approximately hours hours per week. Sonny's is a fast paced cafe with a focus on specialty coffee and providing our loyal customers with excellent customer service. We have a great team and lovely regular customers

Responsibilities:

  • Preparing and serving specialty coffee to our high standards
  • Operation of coffee equipment including grinder, espresso machine, and milk wand
  • Taking customer orders and handling cash transactions
  • Preparing and serving light meals and snacks (sandwich press)
  • Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the café
  • Providing exceptional customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere

Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of experience as a barista in a busy café or restaurant environment
  • A passion for coffee and a strong knowledge of specialty coffee is preferred
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively

Pay: $32.23 – $39.00 per hour
