About the role

Edan Cassell Edge Automotive is seeking a full-time Automotive Technician to join our team in Wendouree, VIC. As an Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for providing high-quality maintenance, repair, and servicing for a variety of vehicles. What you'll be doing

  1. Diagnose and repair a wide range of vehicle issues, including mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems
  2. Perform scheduled maintenance and servicing tasks such as oil changes, brake inspections, and tyre rotations
  3. Follow all safety protocols and ensure a clean, organised work environment
  4. Liaise with customers to understand their concerns and provide updates on the status of their vehicle
  5. Maintain detailed records of all work performed
  6. Stay up-to-date with the latest industry developments and technologies

What we're looking for

  1. Relevant qualifications in Automotive Mechanics or a similar field
  2. Several years of experience as an Automotive Technician, preferably in a workshop environment
  3. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  4. Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality work
  5. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team
  6. A valid driver's licence and your own tools
