About the role

Drummond Dental is looking for a full-time Dentist. Our practice has been serving the local community for over 20 years. Located in Ballarat, Victoria, as the principal Dentist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care and treatments to our diverse patient base, with a focus on delivering exceptional patient experiences.

What you'll be doing

  • Performing a wide range of dental procedures, including examinations, fillings, extractions, root canal treatments, and restorative work
  • Utilizing technology such as intra-oral cameras and scanners to augment your clinical dentistry
  • Working alongside our hygienist of 15+ years
  • Diagnosing and developing treatment plans to address patients' oral health concerns
  • Educating patients on proper oral hygiene and preventative care
  • Collaborating with the dental team to ensure efficient and coordinated patient care
  • Maintaining accurate and detailed patient records
  • Adhering to all relevant dental regulations, industry standards, and practice protocols

What we're looking for

  • Registered and licensed Dentist in Australia, with at least 3 years of experience in a similar role
  • Strong clinical skills and knowledge of the latest dental techniques and procedures including intra-oral scanner
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and the dental team
  • Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centric care
  • Ability to work independently and be supported by our long standing dental hygienist
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
