Our client, a leading multinational pharmaceutical organisation, is seeking a
Procurement Specialist
to join their Finance team and support procurement operations across Australia and New Zealand. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a global business that values innovation and collaboration. This is a 9 month contract initially, with potential to extend.

About the Role

You will be responsible for implementing sourcing strategies, managing spend categories, and driving savings initiatives. The role involves working closely with local and regional stakeholders to ensure compliance with procurement policies and continuous improvement in contract management and third-party engagement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead specific spend categories and deliver savings projects
  • Implement global and regional procurement strategies locally
  • Partner with stakeholders to meet project timelines
  • Provide guidance on procurement systems, tools, and compliance
  • Prepare monthly spend and savings reports
  • Support contract management and policy training

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 2+ years' experience in procurement, sourcing or similar within the pharmaceutical industry
  • Proven experience in indirect procurement
    (e.g., services, marketing, IT, facilities)
  • Strong skills in data analysis, reporting, and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent communication, time management, and organisational skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a regulated environment
  • PR or Citizen
