About the business

We specialise in the sales, service and installation of Uninterruptible Power Supply Systems (UPS), Battery Systems and Power Quality Analysis. Our core business is the design, installation and maintenance of secure Power Protection Systems.

Job Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Perform routine testing, service and maintenance of UPS and battery system

  • Perform fault finding, troubleshooting, repair works and parts replacement of the equipment

  • Attend breakdowns as reported on immediate basis.

  • Prepare and submit service report, record servicing schedule and liaise with clients on the status of the UPS equipment.

  • Ensure safety procedures and proper operating procedures of the equipment at all times

  • Perform electrical connections, testing and commissioning of new equipment installation

  • Able to work independently and as a team during equipment installation and site works.

  • Ensure tidiness and cleanliness of work site, client facilities and all equipment

  • Follow SOP and checklist during service and maintenance works

  • Carry out any other tasks assigned as and when required by superior

Skill, Qualification & Requirement

  • Bachelors Degree in Electrical / Electrical Power is favoured. Training will be provided.

-Able to work in flexible hours, min 30 hours a week, 90% field work.

-Able to carry weight 30kg or more.

  • Working experience in the specific industry relevant to the position is always beneficial, for example in the power generation or energy solutions.

  • Play pro-active role in problem solving, could analysed problem or issues and provide solution.

  • White card is required. ESV Certificate is favoured.

Salary and Benefit

-The hourly salary rates vary depending on experience. A salary rate table will be provided with employee work contract.

-Benefits included are paid sick leave, annual leave, a flexible work schedule and work insurance. Inter-state overnight working allowance is provided.

-Company car will be provided once the engineer/ technician is able to attend site alone.

Hours: 38 per week

Salary: $65,000.00 – $95,000.00 per year
