What we're looking for

We are looking for people who:

  • Enjoy having variety in their day.
  • Can build positive relationships with clients and their families.
  • Care about assisting our aged community members to live independently at home for longer.
  • Are comfortable working independently and finding solutions to everyday problems, knowing when to ask your manager for help. 

In addition, you will need:

  • A valid Australian Driver's Licence & your own insured, roadworthy vehicle
  • An interest in community care or aged care (experience preferred but not essential).

The role

In the role of Home Care Worker you will be providing our aged care clients with home help services, such as:

  • General housekeeping and making beds
  • Cleaning, mopping and vacuuming floors
  • Washing, folding and ironing laundry
  • Meal preparation and grocery shopping 
  • Providing social support and transport to lifestyle activities
  • Helping the family carer to have a break or an opportunity to do other things.
