Position Overview:
What you'll be doing
  • Develop, implement, and review individualized support plans tailored to each participant's unique goals, preferences, and needs.
  • Assisting NDIS participant with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, medication management and meal preparation
  • Monitoring and documenting residents' health, behaviour and progress, and reporting any concerns to the nursing team
  • Organising and facilitating social, recreational and therapeutic activities to enhance participants' wellbeing
  • Maintaining a clean, safe and comfortable living environment for all residents
  • Communicating effectively with residents, their families and the wider care team
  • Adhering to all relevant policies, procedures and regulatory requirements
What we're looking for
  • Relevant qualifications or experience in related field
  • Experience and knowledge in a disability care or similar setting
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to make sound decisions.
  • High level of empathy, resilience, emotional intelligence, and cultural sensitivity
  • Strong organisational and time management abilities, with the capacity to multitask effectively
  • A genuine passion for improving the lives of the disabled, and a commitment to person-centered care
