As the Finance Business Support Team Leader, you'll lead a team of seven staff delivering financial services across the Lands division. Each day, you'll oversee the delivery of timely and accurate financial activities, ensuring the team provides strongsupport to stakeholders and meets compliance requirements. You'll mentor and guide your team, building capability and fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability and continuous improvement.

Throughout the day, you'll partner with colleagues across the division to provide clear financial advice that supports operational decision-making. You'll liaise with Finance and Corporate Operations, offering feedback on systems and processes and identifying opportunities for improvements that enhance efficiency and accuracy. You'll also contribute to broader finance network discussions, representing your team in meetings and helping shape business improvement initiatives.

As a leader, you'll focus on developing a resilient, flexible and skilled team. This will include setting clear expectations, monitoring performance, and providing professional development opportunities to help staff grow in their roles. You'll also contribute to workforce planning and the team's work plan, ensuring priorities are well managed and aligned with organisational objectives.

This role is ideal for someone who combines technical financial expertise with people leadership. Your ability to balance day-to-day service delivery with continuous improvement and strategic thinking will make you a key contributor to the success of the Lands division.
