The Opportunity
We're seeking a
Finance Business Partner
to join our ANZ team in
Brisbane
, reporting to the
Financial Controller
. In this role, you'll provide accurate financial reporting, project cost oversight, and commercial insights, partnering closely with project and operational teams.

This is a great opportunity for a finance professional who enjoys turning data into actionable recommendations, influencing decisions, and contributing to high-impact renewable energy projects. You'll also gain exposure to cross-country operations, collaborating with the NZ finance team.

What You'll Do

  • Prepare month-end accounts and financial reports for Australian operations and support wider AU/NZ finance team in ensuring accuracy and transparency of financial records.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and project cost tracking to inform operational and strategic decisions.
  • Act as a trusted finance partner to project and operational teams, providing insights, guidance, and improving financial literacy.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Procurement, and Cost Management, to drive governance, efficiency, and process improvements.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement, cost savings, and enhanced financial performance across projects and the business.

What You'll Bring

  • Financial Reporting & Accounting – Solid experience in financial reporting and analysis.
  • Project Finance / Cost Tracking – Experience monitoring and analysing project costs, supporting operational teams with financial insights.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting – Experience in preparing budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections for projects or business units.
  • Business Partnering & Stakeholder Management – Proven ability to advise and influence non-finance stakeholders across operational and project teams.
  • ERP & Financial Systems – Experience working with ERP systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
  • Industry or Regulatory Knowledge – Exposure to construction, engineering, or renewable energy industries and IFRS / AASB and other relevant reporting and compliance standards.
