Sandhurst Fine Foods is seeking process workers / machine operators for our Production facility in Miranda.

This permanent position involves general food machine operation in our production area. If you have worked in a food industry before, consider yourself physically fit to stand and perform duties including the ability to lift up to 10kg, then this is the role for you All training will be provided:

Reporting to the Supervisor your main duties will include:

  • Carrying out the production processes of Sandhurst, strictly according to established operating procedures to meet daily production plan e.g. packaging, filling and mixing.
  • Maintaining of machinery
  • Comfortably operate the machine during production
  • Operate the machine during production and ensuring the machine is performing accurately
  • The ability to assemble machine parts
  • Cleaning and maintaining of machinery
  • Must be physically fit and healthy
  • Day Shift Hours - 4-day week - 10 hour per day - overtime offered (Tuesday to Friday)
  • Operate equipment and handling raw materials as per Occupational Health and Safety instructions

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Minimum 1 years of machine operation within food, pharmaceutical, and / or associated industries
  • A solid work ethic and good attitude towards your colleagues and work
  • The ability to lift up to 10kg.
  • Food production, manufacturing and process experience – ideal, but not essential
  • A valid Forklift license (preferrable)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 – $33.00 per hour

Expected hours: 38 per week

Work Location: In person
