Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Production Incharge to lead our Food operations and drive efficiency, safety, and accuracy across all functions.
About the Role:
We are seeking a motivated Production Incharge / Food Shift Incharge to manage daily production operations during assigned shifts. The role requires ensuring production targets are met while maintaining stringent food safety and quality standards. This is a hands-on leadership role where you will supervise staff, monitor workflow, and drive efficiency in a fast-paced food production environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate all production activities during your shift.
- Ensure production schedules and targets are achieved efficiently.
- Monitor quality and compliance with HACCP, GMP, and company standards.
- Lead, train, and motivate production staff; manage performance and attendance.
- Oversee equipment operation and maintenance to minimize downtime.
- Identify operational issues and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Coordinate with Quality, Warehouse, and Logistics teams to ensure smooth production flow.
- Maintain accurate production records and report on key metrics to management.
Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience in a production supervisory or shift management role within the food industry.
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and quality standards.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and team management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet production deadlines.
- Experience in process optimization, problem-solving, and inventory control.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Diploma or degree in Food Technology, Food Science, or related field.
- Experience in shift-based production management and staff scheduling.
Working Environment:
- Fast-paced food production facility with strict hygiene and safety protocols.
- Collaborative and hands-on team environment.
- Shift-based operations, requiring flexibility to manage day/evening/night shifts.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
- Achievement of production targets per shift.
- Compliance with quality and food safety standards.
- Staff productivity, attendance, and discipline.
- Reduction of waste and process inefficiencies.
- Implementation of continuous improvement initiatives.
- Safe operation of machinery and adherence to workplace safety standards.
