About Haskoning:
At Haskoning, you will join an independent, employee-owned international consultancy that combines engineering, design, and consultancy services with software and technology. Our mission, "Enhancing Society Together," drives us to create a positive impact on the world.
We offer purpose-driven and challenging work in diverse international projects, leveraging our 140+ years of expertise. With over 6,800 employees in more than 25 countries, we work together to turn challenges into opportunities and make a real impact on society.
About Haskoning Australia:
Based in Sydney, Newcastle and Brisbane, Haskoning in Australia is an engineering consultancy providing independent strategic advisory, design, engineering, environmental, and project management services to companies around the country and in neighbouring regions – including New Zealand, SE Asia and the Pacific Islands and Papua New Guinea.
About First Marine International (FMI):
First Marine International (FMI) is the shipyard technology and maritime market research group within Haskoning; and the international leader in shipyard design, shipyard performance improvement and marine market research. The role will provide project and financial administrative support to the FMI project managers and team, as well as back up FMI Director's PA/Team Secretary and UK Project Management Team in their absence. Ideally you will already have some shipyard and industrial experience that you will be able to readily adapt to the maritime consultancy environment. Previous experience within business development projects would help support the Senior and Principal Consultants winning work in the Indo Pacific Region. Depending on experience levels you will either start as a Jnr Project Manager or Project Manager and in time progress to project managing and undertaking projects, either alone or as part of an FMI team.
You will help represent the company in front of clients (initially with supervision) and will work towards being able to present a credible solution to clients' problems and questions with due regard to accuracy, objectivity, risk and liability.
