About the Role
We are currently recruiting for multiple Disability Support Workers to provide support to NDIS participants across Melbourne.
You will have the opportunity to work with a variety of Participants with different support needs including building improved daily living skills, social and community participation, personal care support and domestic support.
Core Responsibilities
· Maintain a person-centred approach when working with all participants to promote independence and maximise choice and control
· Ensure records of all shift service delivery activities are recorded
· Maintain privacy and confidentiality at all times
· Adhere to all Core Behaviours of Absolute Care & Health
About You
We are seeking someone who values the values of compassion and empathy to create a feeling of family unity, whereby each person can be an individual with the help and support of others.
You will bring a minimum of 1 year of experience needed as a Disability Support Worker, with strong knowledge in Person-Centred Approach and active engagement.
Above all you will be motivated, flexible, and able to work collaboratively with our home care team.
Mandatory Requirements
· Certificate 4 in Disability
· Working with Children's Check (Employee)
· Full Covid Vaccinations
· Car and Driver's Licence
· CPR & First Aid
· Valid Working Rights in Australia
· NDIS Workers Screening Check
· Current Police Check (Not a Name check)
