About the Role/You
RMIT is seeking a dynamic Associate Director, International Development to lead the creation and delivery of strategic offshore education partnerships. This pivotal role combines high-level strategy with hands-on execution - developing market strategies, negotiating commercial agreements, and driving initiatives that expand RMIT's global footprint. You'll work closely with senior executives, influence decision-making at the highest level, and ensure partnerships deliver strong outcomes for students and the university.

You'll guide strategic priorities across multiple markets, provide commercial and risk insights, and lead a talented team of specialists. To be successful in this position, you'll have:

• Experience communicating with executive level stakeholders in a complex organisation

• Experience with the preparation of strategy documents such as business cases and market strategies for executive audiences

• Experience working with other cultures in a business or academic environment

• Experience managing a diverse team with varied roles and experience

• Demonstrated commercial acumen

• Ability to demonstrate discretion regarding sensitive financial and people information
