A wonderful opportunity is available at The Meat & Wine Co in South Perth. The Meat & Wine Co is a full service, casual fine dining steakhouse that specialises in dry-aging steaks and has an impressive wine selection.

We are looking for an experienced Host Supervisor to lead the Guest Services Department within our venue. Working alongside the management team, you will have the chance to lead, drive and mentor a team of enthusiastic and committed team members to ensure an outstanding dining experience for your customers.

Day to day duties will include:

  • Allocate and monitor all reservations and manage the door during service periods
  • Maximise seating times and allocations through multi-tasking
  • Responsible for processing financial transactions and closing procedures
  • Manage the function process end to end - exceptional communication skills both external and internal
  • An understanding of up-to-date reservation systems and working with loyalty programs, vouchers, and gift cards
  • Being system focussed is a must

Do you have?

  • A minimum of 1 years' experience in guest services within the restaurant, hotel, or tourism industry
  • Experience in function booking and coordination
  • Previous experience in an A La Carte environment an advantage
  • Cash handling experience
  • Advanced verbal and written communication skills
  • Seven Rooms experience an advantage
  • Current RSA certificate
  • Flexible availability over a 7-day rotating roster inclusive of weekdays/nights and weekend days/nights
