About the role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Reception / Restaurant Coordinator to join our team at the Best Western Plus All Settlers Motor Inn in Tamworth, NSW. This is a casual role that will involve providing excellent customer service at the front desk as well as coordinating the day-to-day operations of our on-site restaurant. There is scope to grow this to a full time or part time position for the right applicant.

What you'll be doing

  1. Greeting and checking in guests in a friendly and professional manner
  2. Handling guest enquiries, bookings and payments
  3. Assisting with the coordination of the restaurant, including managing reservations, seating guests, and liaising with kitchen and wait staff. Talking to Function and conference enquires and coordinating the event with team and the customers.
  4. Ensuring a high standard of cleanliness and presentation in all front-of-house areas
  5. Providing exceptional customer service to all guests
  6. Accurately handling cash and other financial transactions
  7. Assisting with other administrative duties as required

What we're looking for

  1. Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role
  2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  3. Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities
  4. Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  5. Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and hotel management software
  6. A passion for providing exceptional customer service
