About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced medical receptionist to lead our front desk operations in a permanent part-time position. This role offers stability, fixed hours, and the chance to work in a busy, award-winning clinic where your skills will be valued.

You will be the first point of contact for our patients, ensuring every interaction reflects the professionalism and care our clinic is known for. Duties include:

  • Greeting patients and managing front desk operations
  • Appointment scheduling, payments, and health fund claims
  • Supporting clinicians with administrative needs
  • Maintaining accurate patient records
  • Contributing to the smooth daily running of the clinic

About You

You bring:

  • 2+ years' experience in a busy medical or allied health reception role
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • The ability to manage competing priorities while staying calm under pressure
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a warm, professional manner
  • Proficiency with medical practice software (Cliniko required, experience with Medicare billing systems preferred)
  • Availability for some Saturday mornings and occasional evenings
  • Working knowledge of medical terminology, health fund claiming, Workcover/TAC/NDIS procedures
