CoreStaff are seeking multiple Grounds persons & Parks Operators to join our clients in various locations including Burswood, Murdoch & Guilford.
Grounds & Parks Operator
As a Parks Operator you are part of a team that is passionate about horticulture, landscaping and turf management. There will include operation of minor plant and various duties on your feet throughout the day.
If you have previous experience in Landscaping, Horticulture and outdoors work this could be the job for you.
Duties will include:
- Assisting with the establishment and maintenance of horticultural, landscaping, and turf management;
- Operating a wide range of horticultural equipment and machinery;
- Ensuring all equipment and tools are maintained in a clean, safe, and workable condition;
- Preparing and planting garden beds and landscapes; and
- Mowing, brush-cutting, and edging parks, reserves, and open spaces.
To be successful for this role, you will need to have:
- Knowledge and experience in current horticultural practices and equipment use;
- An understanding of safe working practices and Work Health & Safety issues;
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills;
- Experience working as part of a small team; and
- Manual work experience.
Cert III or higher in Horticulture and 'MR' Class Driver's License is also desirable.
Eligibility Requirements
At a minimum, you will have the following:
- 'C' Class Driver's License;
- Full working rights
- Construction Induction Card (White / Blue Card);
