We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Hospitality Manager to oversee our food manufacturing operations based at our head office and manufacturing premises in Greenacre.
Job Summary:The Hospitality Manager will be responsible for the overall management of our food manufacturing division, ensuring that all products meet quality and safety standards while also aligning with our company's hospitality values. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food production, a passion for hospitality, and excellent leadership skills to manage teams and foster a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the food manufacturing unit, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a diverse team of culinary staff, production workers, and administrative personnel.
- Establish and maintain quality control standards to ensure all products meet internal and regulatory requirements.
- Implement and monitor food safety standards, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations (e.g., HACCP) and company policies.
- Regularly audit food production processes and facilities to identify areas for improvement.
- Plan and oversee the production schedule to optimize efficiency and minimize waste.
- Coordinate with procurement and inventory management teams to ensure the availability of high-quality ingredients and supplies.
- Monitor production costs and work to reduce waste and inefficiencies while maintaining product quality.
- Oversee in-house catering services, ensuring seamless execution of events and customer satisfaction.
- Contribute to the development of strategic goals and objectives for the food manufacturing division.
Qualifications:
- At least a Diploma level of qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in food production or hospitality management, with a strong emphasis on manufacturing processes.
- In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations, quality control practices, and best practices in food production.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients, staff, and vendors.
