About the role

We are looking to hire a permanent Vineyard Operator to join our Robe Vineyards team. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of growing premium fruit for well established brands. Your day-to-day will consist of: 

  • Tractor and machinery operations, including pruning, harvesting, spraying, mowing, mulching, trimming, and leaf plucking 
  • Managing irrigation operations and perform maintenance tasks 
  • Engaging in hands-on vineyard work to ensure the highest quality standards 

About you 

Successful applicants will naturally take pride in their work, be motivated to learn new skills, throw themselves into being one of the team, and have a good eye for detail and an overall positive attitude.  

  • Vineyard operations experience is preferred but we are open to a variety of past skills  
  • Safety focused with an eye for detail 
  • A reliable and engaged team player 
  • Able to perform manual handling work (a pre-employment medical check will be part of the recruitment process).
