We have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Gardener to join our Cellar Door & Garden team. Reporting to the Gardener, this role will assist in delivering operational gardening and landscape maintenance activities around our cellar door and winery, as well as engaging in native vegetation and biodiversity projects across our vineyard sites.

Tasks include:

  • routine plant care, pruning and hedging
  • irrigation monitoring and maintenance
  • optimising plant health
  • operation and care of garden equipment
  • care of garden structures and outdoor furniture
  • mower and tractor operations
  • High level turf care
  • Fungicide, insecticide, fertiliser and herbicide preparation and application

  • You have a passion for gardening, an enjoyment of physical outdoor work

  • You have a self-starting attitude and strong attention to detail
  • You are physically fit to perform the duties and have the energy to contribute to our team
