As our Safety Manager, you'll be the driving force behind our safety strategy. This is your chance to lead critical safety programs, influence culture at every level and make a tangible difference in the lives of our people. You'll work closely with operational leaders to embed best practice and deliver innovative solutions that keep everyone safe.

Responsibilities:

  • Own and enhance our WHS management system and critical control program.
  • Monitor, report, and improve safety performance across the business.
  • Conduct assurance reviews and site inspections to identify risks before they become incidents.
  • Champion safety initiatives through engaging toolbox talks and clear communication.
  • Prepare safety reports for senior leadership and the Board.
  • Build strong relationships with regulators and industry bodies.
  • Support tenders and presentations by showcasing BINGO's safety excellence.

What makes you a GOgetter:

  • Tertiary qualifications and/or proven experience in a similar safety role.
  • Expertise in WHS management systems (ISO 45001, ASNZ 4801 or similar).
  • Strong track record in audits, data analysis, and implementing safety improvements.
  • Collaborative approach with the ability to influence and coach teams.
  • Tech-savvy with Microsoft Office and safety management software.
  • Experience in high-hazard environments; waste/recycling industry knowledge is a bonus.
