Corporate Security Manager – Canberra (Governance, Risk & Compliance Focus)

We are seeking an
experienced Corporate Security Manager
to lead
strategic security governance, risk, and compliance
across visa application operations in Canberra.


Note:
This is a
corporate security leadership
role —
not
a physical guarding or site security position. Applicants with
governance, policy, and risk
backgrounds are strongly encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and implementation of
    corporate security frameworks
    aligned with client and contractual requirements.
  • Conduct
    risk assessments, audits, and investigations
    , providing actionable insights to senior management and government partners.
  • Prepare and present
    strategic security and risk reports
    to senior stakeholders.
  • Manage
    security budgets, vendor performance
    , and compliance programs.
  • Deliver
    security awareness training
    and ensure adherence to corporate and legal obligations.
  • Act as the
    primary liaison with government clients, law enforcement, and regulatory authorities
    .

Ideal Candidate

  • 5+ years' experience
    in
    corporate
    or
    government security
    ,
    risk management
    , or
    compliance
    .
  • Strong background in
    policy development, investigations, and governance reporting
    .
  • Proven ability to manage
    multi-site operations and compliance frameworks
    .
  • Skilled in
    stakeholder engagement
    with government and corporate clients.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CPP, PSP, Diploma in Security Risk Management) are highly regarded.
  • Australian Government Security Clearance (NV1/NV2)
    desirable.
