About the Role

We are currently seeking a highly motivated SMSF intermediate accountant to join our dynamic and growing superannuation division.

Your role will involve working under the direct supervision of the SMSF Partner to support them in the completion of SMSF compliance work. This role will suit a candidate that has prior experience in the SMSF space and is looking to take their career to the next level.

Key responsibilities of the position include:

  • Preparation of SMSF Financial Statements and Annual Returns;
  • Liaise with auditors to ensure compliance with relevant legislation and regulations;
  • Liaise with third parties such as the ATO; and
  • Attend to client queries and provide excellent client service.

Qualifications and Experience

To be successful in this role you must have:

  • Minimum 2-3 years experience in SMSF administration;
  • Strong communication skills – written and verbal;
  • A genuine passion for SMSF; and
  • Experience with BGL 360 software or similar.

Salary levels will be commensurate with experience, education and the ability to display exceptional communication skills. You will also be rewarded with a challenging career.
