The Technology Strategy & Performance (S&P) team plays a pivotal role in shaping and enabling the execution of the Technology Strategy. We partner across domains to drive alignment, embed performance insights and deliver strategic outcomes. Our operating model positions us as trusted advisors—integrating strategic planning, workforce governance, financial stewardship, supplier management and performance analytics to support Technology's transformation agenda.

The Strategy & Performance team drives a clear articulation of the Technology strategy, delivering transparency to Technology and the business.
The Technology Supplier Management team is part of this function and is responsible for ensuring we engage the right suppliers that will support delivery of the Technology Strategy. The team manages day 2 activities, with a strong focus on performance, value delivery, and risk mitigation.

We have a Senior Supplier Manager vacancy to support our Chief Data and Analytics office. Your overarching goals will be to:
- Align with Technology Strategy: Ensure cohesive supplier partnerships and strategic plans.
- Enhance Performance: Continuously monitor and improve supplier contributions.
- Maximize Supplier Value: Foster strong partnerships and drive impactful actions.
- Manage Risk: Implement robust risk management practices and ensure supplier compliance
We're interested in hearing from people who will aspire to:
- Ensure the supplier strategy aligns with and supports the execution of the Technology Strategy.
- Drive performance uplift across our supplier cohort, deriving insights from data and sharing them with both the suppliers and the business units you support to drive positive change.
- Proactively manage all risks, controls, and obligations within appetite, enforcing the group framework.
- Optimize the portfolio, ensuring effective cost management.
- In partnership with procurement, support pipeline management from the business units you support, ensuring all relevant approvals are obtained before contract execution.
- Support transformation activities within the team that span across technology.
- Manage stakeholder engagement at EM, GM, and EGM levels.
Other qualities you may possess include:
- Strong experience in supplier management, ideally in technology.
- A solid understanding of supplier segmentation, performance management, optimization, and risk management.
- Comfort working within an agile team, operating in sprints.
- Extensive experience in supplier management.
- Significant experience in technology with exposure to Data Management & AI technology suppliers.
