Gilmore Lawyers is a well established, friendly law firm based in Beenleigh. We are expanding due to having such a large volume of clients, and seeking a criminal solicitor to join our team.

About the Position

You will have the opportunity to conduct your own caseload under supervision, appear in Courts as an advocate on a daily basis, prepare more serious cases, and instruct Counsel in the District Court and Supreme Courts throughout South East Queensland.

About the Firm

Gilmore Lawyers was established in 2006 by David Gilmore who was previously both a solicitor and criminal barrister in England and Wales from 1988. Originally also practicing in Family Law, we have more recently specialized in Criminal Law due to the high demand for our services in this field.

Candidate Profile

1.     Post Qualification Experience in Criminal Law.

2.     Eligibility for accreditation as a Duty Lawyer or very close to such accreditation.

3.     Passion for criminal defence law

4.     Proven ability for attention to detail

5.     A strong customer focus and understanding of the needs of your clients.

6.     Excellent communication skills.

7.     Ability to enjoy being busy running a large and varied caseload

8.     Willingness to work with a team focus
