Microhire is looking for exceptional Audio Visual Technicians to join our passionate team delivering world-class conferences, galas, exhibitions and events throughout Brisbane.

Microhire is an Australian Event Staging specialist, and we've been going strong for almost 40 years. We supply audio, vision and lighting services and equipment to corporate and five star hospitality industries. We persevere to empower our teams creatively and be proactive in problem-solving skills.

As a technician, you will be providing professional services for corporate events spanning audio, vision, event staging and lighting technologies. This role encompasses the setup, operation and pack down of equipment for high profile events.

The ideal candidate will also have proficient organisational skills, and proven experience taking the lead within small teams. Most importantly, you will need to be customer service focused, passionate, and enthusiastic.

  • A solid understanding of the conferencing or staging industry
  • A passion for technology
  • Direct experience operating events
  • Driven to provide outstanding customer service
  • Superior personal presentation
  • A valid open driver's license
  • Rigging ticket highly favourable
  • EWP (Yellow card or HRWL) highly favourable

Salary will commensurate experience. Full training provided.

Ability to work rotating rosters and fit to lift Audio Visual equipment.
