We're looking for an experienced Commissioning Technician who knows how to bring systems to life.

This is a full-time role based in Brisbane, with some travel across Queensland and Interstate. You'll join a skilled Technical Services team delivering high-quality AV systems across corporate, government, education and community spaces. About the Role

As a Commissioning Technician, you'll take the lead in testing, configuring and fine-tuning AV systems to make sure they work safely, seamlessly, and as designed. You'll be the bridge between the engineering team and the end user, ensuring every project is handed over fully functional, well-documented and ready to perform.

You'll work closely with Project Managers, Engineers and Installation Technicians to make sure jobs run smoothly and clients are supported from commissioning to handover.

This role suits someone who's detail-oriented, methodical, and confident turning complex AV designs into real-world performance.

What You'll Do

  • Commission AV systems to meet project requirements and functionality expectations
  • Demonstrate basic commissioning skills for AV systems integration and testing
  • Read and interpret AV schematics, drawings and scopes of work
  • Verify and test signal paths, device configurations and control systems
  • Deliver user training and system handovers
  • Attend start-up and project delivery meetings as required
  • Maintain accurate documentation and system records
  • Identify and communicate areas for improvement across delivery processes
  • Stay up to date with required certifications and new technologies
  • Represent Videopro professionally and build strong client relationships

Who the Role Is For

  • You've got solid AV or IT industry experience
  • You have a minimum of 1-2 years of experience in the AV industry
  • You understand signal flow, networks, and control systems
  • You're confident working from technical drawings and documentation
  • You've got strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • You can work autonomously but also enjoy being part of a high-performing team
  • You take ownership, communicate clearly, and get things done

You hold a minimum high school diploma qualification

You must be an Australian citizen to be considered for this position
