Workfast is looking for aHealth and Safety Environmental Advisor to join our client's multi-year project on a 3:1 roster at Northwestern Victoria. 

  • $60.00 per hour + Penalties + superannuation
  • 3:1 roster

We are working on behalf of our client, who is a successful, well-known and reputable nationwide business that covers industrial, construction, and environmental services and is seeking an HSE Advisor.

The ideal candidate will come with strong references and possess an impeccable Safety record.

What you need:

  • Australia's full working rights
  • Current Driver's Licence
  • White card
  • QualifiedHealth and SafetyEnvironmentalAdvisor
  • Complete a Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety (BSB41419), Diploma of Work Health and Safety (BSB51319) or Bachelor of Occupational Health and Safety.
  • Minimum 5 years ofHealth and Safety Advisor experience
  • Experience as a Health and Safety Advisor working in the construction environment
  • Strong safety focus and ability to operate within WHS&E policies
  • Disciplined attention to detail and accuracy
  • Hardworking, honest & reliable character with a positive attitude
  • Must have excellent computer skills with Microsoft Office.

What you will be doing:

  • Responsible for delivering a project in accordance with the Project's Target Zero objectives of zero harm to people, community and environment.
  • Advocate compliance with the project HSE Management System and drive site-wide implementation of all activities relating to the Project Target Zero objectives.
  • Support the HSE Manager and HSE Superintendent in the development, implementation, monitoring and revision of the HSE Management Systems
  • Maintain site safety data and statistics
  • Coordinate and conduct workplace audits, inspections and risk assessments
