LJ Hooker Mackay is seeking a motivated Business Development & Property Management Professional to join our award-winning team. This role is ideal for someone who loves building strong client relationships, driving new business growth, and delivering outstanding service to our valued landlords and tenants.

About the Role

In this role, you'll combine your natural people skills with your property expertise to:

  • Identify and secure new management opportunities across the Mackay & Bowen Basin region.
  • Build lasting relationships with landlords, tenants, and referral partners.
  • Conduct rental appraisals, listing presentations, and onboarding of new clients.
  • Support the property management team in ensuring seamless management transitions.
  • Represent the LJ Hooker brand with professionalism, energy, and integrity.

About You

You'll be a people person who genuinely enjoys helping others. You're self-driven, organised, and confident when it comes to communication and negotiation.

We're looking for someone who:

  • Has experience in property management or business development. (desirable)
  • Holds (or is eligible for) a current QLD Real Estate Certificate of Registration.
  • Is tech-savvy and familiar with property software such as PropertyMe, VaultRE, or similar.
  • Thrives on achieving targets and enjoys being part of a supportive, high-performing team.
  • Possesses a professional attitude and a passion for growth — both personally and professionally.
