About Wynnum Medical Centre:

WMC is a modern general practice and skin cancer clinic that started to operate from purpose-built premises in Morton Shopping Centre in Tingalpa, opposite Chemist Warehouse, 8 years ago.  Currently, we have 4 doctors, 1 RN, 4 receptionists, and a practice manager, and we are getting busier.

The Role:

The Nurse's role is to provide various nursing services at the centre serving a growing turnover of patients. You will be managing the treatment room, assisting doctors, conducting recalls and reminders, and will report to our practice manager. It is currently a few days a week with the potential to be full-time in future.

What you would do:

The main tasks you would do every day include:

  • Use of Best Practice software
  • Conduct Recalls and Reminders
  • Manage our treatment room
  • Assist doctors
  • Conduct immunisations
  • Maintain and Restock the treatment room and doctors' rooms
Requirements:
  • Knowledge and understanding of using the software
  • AHPRA registration
  • Medical Indemnity
  • Experience in Vaccination is preferred

Preferred:

  • Experience using Best Practice
  • Great communication skills
  • New graduates are welcome to apply
