About the Role

We currently have a vacancy for an experienced Practice Nurse to join our team to assist with nursing duties including care plans, health assessments, assisting in the procedure rooms, ECGs and childhood immunisations.

Other duties will include but not be limited to:

  • Assisting GP's with procedures
  • ECG/ear syringe/dressing/general treatment room duties
  • Develop and complete GP management plans and Team Care Arrangements with the assistance of the GP
  • Triage patients over the phone
  • Ensure all interactions are professional and courteous with a focus on patient confidentiality

About You

Along with your strong work ethic and previous experience in a similar role you'll have/be:

  • Registered nurse registered with AHPRA
  • Full Australian working rights or be a permanent resident
  • Experience in general practice
  • Experience with Best Practice software desired but not required
  • Must be able to integrate into a fast-paced team environment
  • Must have a vigilant attitude with a focus on patient centred care
  • Be able to accept and respond to feedback
