Your Opportunity:
We are seeking a Recruitment Consultant to join a global organisation with a proud 100+ year history of innovation and growth. This newly created role will be based in Brisbane and play a key part in shaping the company's recruitment success across Australia, New Zealand, and Southeast Asia.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive, people-focused HR team at a time of rapid business growth. You'll partner closely with hiring managers, the HR team, and stakeholders across multiple countries to source, attract, and secure high-quality talent.
While the focus will initially be on supporting recruitment across Australia and New Zealand, the scope will expand to cover the wider Asia-Pacific region as the business continues to grow.
Your Role:
Reporting into the HR Manager your Key Responsibilities will include:
- Partner with hiring managers to deliver effective recruitment strategies across technical, sales, and commercial roles.
- Source talent through LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, networking, referrals, and agencies where appropriate.
- Manage end-to-end recruitment, including screening, interview coordination, reference checks, police checks, and pre-employment medicals.
- Build and maintain a diverse talent pipeline for future hiring needs.
- Support recruitment onboarding workflows and system updates (Jobvite, transitioning to Workday).
- Provide regular recruitment metrics and insights to HR and leadership.
- Ensure all recruitment activity complies with local employment laws and internal policies.
- Represent the business with professionalism, delivering an exceptional candidate experience.
Your Profile:
- Proactive, empathetic, and adaptable.
- A strong communicator with the ability to build trusted relationships across multicultural teams.
- Experienced in internal or agency recruitment, ideally across Australia or the South Asia-Pacific region.
- Skilled at using sourcing platforms (LinkedIn Recruiter, Seek, Indeed).
- Professional, organised, and discreet when managing confidential information.
- Open to learning and development, with a willingness to grow alongside the business.
Experience recruiting in Southeast Asia is an advantage, but not essential.
