is a well-established Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisation that has been supporting the Broome community for over 40 years. Headquartered in Broome, Western Australia, BRAMS provides holistic, culturally safe primary healthcare, aged care, and community programs to Aboriginal people throughout the Kimberley region.

We're seeking:

  • Graduate Speech Pathologist
  • Graduate Physiotherapist
  • Graduate Occupational Therapist

As part of a
large, experienced allied health team
, you'll receive
structured supervision, mentoring, and professional development
while gaining practical experience across
Aged Care, Disability (NDIS)
, and
Primary Health Care
programs.

You'll provide assessment, therapy, and rehabilitation services in clinic, community, and home-based settings, contributing to multidisciplinary care that is holistic, culturally safe, and responsive to the needs of Aboriginal people and families.

As a Graduate Allied Health Professional at BRAMS, you will:

  • Deliver person-centred, evidence-based allied health services under supervision across Aged Care, NDIS, and Primary Health Care programs.
  • Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and implement therapy programs to support independence, function, and wellbeing.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions, care coordination, and goal planning.
  • Educate and empower consumers, families, and carers to support engagement in daily life and self-management.
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation and contribute to service planning and continuous improvement.
  • Develop your professional confidence and clinical reasoning through structured mentoring, peer collaboration, and ongoing learning opportunities.

The program is designed to support progression to
permanent employment and a salary increase
upon completion.

You'll bring:

  • A
    tertiary qualification
    in your respective discipline (Speech Pathology, Physiotherapy, or Occupational Therapy).
  • Current or eligible registration
    with your national professional board (Speech Pathology Australia, Physiotherapy Board of Australia, or Occupational Therapy Board of Australia).
  • A foundational understanding of
    culturally safe practice
    and the social and cultural determinants of health affecting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work respectfully within a multidisciplinary team.
  • A proactive approach to learning, reflective practice, and professional development under supervision.

You'll also bring personal qualities that align with BRAMS' values:

  • Compassion, respect, and motivation to learn from others.
  • Adaptability, resilience, and the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • A collaborative and positive approach that contributes to a culturally safe, supportive work environment.

Experience through
student placements in Aboriginal or remote community settings
and familiarity with
NDIS, Aged Care, or Primary Health frameworks
will be highly regarded.
