About the role

As Senior Hydraulic Engineer you will lead hydraulic services design and delivery for landmark and everyday projects, help grow our local client base. You'll work with multidisciplinary teams, mentor junior staff, and maintain strong links with our Brisbane Office.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead design and documentation of hydraulic/building services (wet and dry services, sanitary, water supply, hot water systems, and fire systems) using 3D Revit and BIM tools.
  • Prepare compliant designs to Australian Standards and the National Construction Code.
  • Manage multiple projects from concept through to construction documentation and handover.
  • Collaborate with engineers, architects, and stakeholders to deliver practical, cost‑effective solutions.
  • Build and nurture client relationships and local business opportunities.
  • Mentor and guide junior engineers and technical staff.
  • Undertake initial training and induction at our Spring Hill office with regular travel as required.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering, or QBCC hydraulic design licence.
  • 5+ years' experience in hydraulic services design for building projects.
  • Proven experience using 3D Revit, Navisworks, and BIM workflows.
  • Strong knowledge of Australian Standards and the National Construction Code.
  • Demonstrated leadership, excellent communication, and client‑facing skills.
  • Proactive, solutions‑focused attitude with strong problem‑solving ability.
