Our Small Erina Accounting Firm is looking to hire an enthusiastic, Intermediate or Senior Accountant who enjoys the challenge of a wide variety of work.

The position involves engagements in taxation, financial accounting and preparation, business and instalment activity statement preparation, company, not-for-profit and SMSF audit, superannuation accounting and taxation, real estate and law society trust account auditing along with a wide variety of client bookkeeping assistance.

The position involves working directly under the firms director as part of our small team environment and with a high level of independence in the completion and organisation of your work.

Although we are small we pride ourselves in upholding a high quality of work both in our internal work papers and our external reports delivered to our clients.

Key attributes we are looking for include:

  • 2+ years recent experience in public practice accounting

  • High level of knowledge of financial accounts preparation

  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills

  • Be working towards or finished an accounting qualification

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent qualification preferred

  • High level of IT skills

  • Proficiency in Xero accounting software is beneficial
