We are looking for a hands-on leader with a passion for keeping spaces safe, functional, and welcoming. Join Lutheran Services at St Andrews Aged Care, nestled in the serene hinterland of Tallebudgera, just minutes from the Gold Coast. This is your chance to lead grounds and maintenance operations in a peaceful, community-focused aged care environment.

About the Role

As our Grounds & Maintenance Supervisor, you'll oversee the day-to-day operations of the maintenance team, ensuring our facilities remain safe, efficient, and beautifully maintained.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and schedule maintenance and groundskeeping works
  • Provide advice on building projects and upgrades
  • Manage maintenance systems and records
  • Ensure safe and responsible use of equipment and materials
  • Lead and mentor staff to foster a high-performing, safety-conscious team culture
  • Ensure WHS and fire safety compliance, including contractor oversight
  • Participate in on-call arrangements as required
  • Liaise with internal teams, residents, families, and external contractors

About You

  • Relevant trade qualification or equivalent experience
  • Proven leadership and staff management skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Aged care experience essential
  • Valid Driver's Licence and Police Check
  • NDIS Worker Screening clearance (or willingness to obtain)
