Join a world-class engineering and consulting team driving the transition to cleaner, smarter energy systems. This newly created senior position will be pivotal in building visibility for the organisation in Australia while delivering projects that have strong ties to teams and clients across Asia and Europe.

Working as part of a large, high-calibre global power systems group, you'll collaborate with industry-leading experts in HV transmission, renewable energy integration, energy storage (BESS), HVDC, and both onshore and offshore wind. You'll be helping to promote capabilities that are recognised internationally as best-in-class, while contributing to innovative solutions for some of the most complex energy infrastructure projects.

The Opportunity

As Principal and National Lead - Power Systems, you will:

  • Define the national strategy for the power systems service line, aligning with APAC and global objectives.
  • Build and strengthen the organisation's presence in the Australian market, growing capability and influence to match global standards.
  • Position the organisation as a recognised leader through business development, client engagement, and industry representation.
  • Maintain an active role in technical delivery while driving excellence across projects in grid connection, HVDC, renewable integration, and transmission systems.
  • Collaborate with international experts to bring best-practice methodologies and innovation into local projects.
  • Take ownership for driving revenue growth through strategic client relationships, project wins, and expansion of services.

About You

You're an established leader in the power systems field with:

  • 12+ years' experience in consulting or utility environments.
  • Recognised technical expertise in power system studies, grid connection, and renewable energy integration.
  • A strong client network and proven record in generating revenue and building market presence.
  • The ability to influence outcomes, shape market positioning, and deliver high-quality client work.
  • A collaborative mindset and ability to work seamlessly across cultures and geographies.
