About the team

The Transformation and Digital Delivery Branch delivers systems and services that help protect and improve the integrity. The branch develops and implements strategies to reduce fraud and fulfil the goals to become more responsive, supportive and sustainable, and put people with disability back at the centre.

Criteria

The buyer has specified that each candidate must provide a one-page pitch to address all criteria specified. This is equal to 5000 characters.

Essential criteria

  1. Proven record of accomplishment in leading architecture solution development with at least ten years' experience operating as a lead architect.

  2. Broad technical & architectural background delivering solution architectures for large scale and complex projects; experience balancing project, program, and organisational goals, as well as tactical and strategic drivers.

  3. Excellent presentation, facilitation, listening, communication and stakeholder and team management skills.

  4. Demonstrated experience (at least 5 years) leading an architecture practice and day to day management of a team of architecture staff.

  5. Ability to translate business capabilities requirements into technology requirements and solution designs and development of strategic roadmaps.

  6. Ability to engage and mentor technical and architecture teams to help deliver solution designs working in collaboration with other architects, whilst also being able to facilitate design reviews and decisioning conversations with senior business executives and project sponsors.

Desirable criteria

  1. Bachelor of Science/Business in Information Technology or equivalent tertiary qualification is mandatory AND TOGAF certified or equivalent IT architectural qualification

  2. Experience leading fraud detection and compliance improvement transformation programs and integration of these solutions into existing enterprise class platforms and assets.

  3. Federal Government clearances, or ability to achieve such.

  4. AWS cloud architectural certifications and experience in Cloud, Cyber Security and enterprise-class platforms and services.
