Description:

This is a pivotal role in the domain across Technology & Data Architecture in delivering the strategic Future of Authoring platform covering news, lifestyle, food, travel and sports. This is a pivotal role in shaping the future Newsroom & Publishing solution architecture, supporting project delivery and architecture strategy.

This role will support the business stakeholders across the organisation by providing technical leadership and direction in defining strategic technology solutions that meet stakeholder needs.

Major Accountabilities:

Lead a multi-staged strategic transformation programs solution architecture development and delivery.

● Design and deliver end to end high-level solutions that derive maximum business benefits and leverage more value from our investment in the Future of Authoring ecosystem.

● Design solutions with adherence to architecture methods and standards

● Interpret stakeholder goals, design and cost related solutions

● Define and maintain target and transition state architectures for the program

● Provide day-to-day technical leadership across permanent and vendor architect resources assigned to the program.

● Provide architecture governance for the technical designs across the program

● Proactively identify and address delivery/technical issues and challenges in order to ensure business outcomes are delivered.

● Define and guide Proof-of-concepts delivery across the program where required

● Contribute to a high performing delivery culture, comprised of engaged and empowered employees.

Capabilities and competencies :

3+ years Lead Solution Architect / Program Architect practical experience proven across major transformational initiatives involving multiple architects

● 10+ years Solution Architecture experience.

● A commercial acumen and a strategic mindset

● Demonstrable experience defining and delivering large scale initiatives through Agile methods

● Experience in Digital Publishing domain knowledge, including media creation, authoring, editorial planning and digital / print delivery

● Proficiency in designing scalable and secure consent data repositories and architectures, retention policies for consent data

● Experience with Wordpress VIP and Integration technologies, including design and development of Wordpress plugins

● Demonstrable experience in Integration technologies, Identity access management solutions

● Experience and ability to lead & coach technical teams with collaborative

approach to delivery with supporting architects

● Ability to establish and maintain solid relationships with technical and business stakeholders

● Experienced in providing technical consultation to business stakeholders

● Excellent communication skills and executive presence

● Experience in presenting, exploring solutions through use of whiteboarding

● Skills in stakeholder management, cross-functional collaboration and change management
