Job Opportunity - OCDD/ Screening Analysts (Sydney, 6-Month Contract)

WhiteLight AML is building a team of 10 Ongoing Customer Due Diligence (OCDD) Analysts to join a major compliance project with one of our clients in Sydney. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a large-scale program of work, contributing to the delivery of high-quality compliance outcomes in a fast-paced environment.

About the Role

As an OCDD Analyst, you will play a key role in ensuring the business meets its regulatory obligations under the AML/CTF Act. You will be responsible for conducting end-to-end OCDD reviews, including:

  • Refreshing customer KYC files in line with regulatory and internal requirements
  • Performing screening activities (adverse media, sanctions, PEPs)
  • Identifying and escalating ECDD triggers where required
  • Completing remediation workflows and data quality checks
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely completion of reviews

What We're Looking For

We are seeking professionals with:

  • Prior experience in casinos or large Australian financial services organisations (highly regarded)
  • Strong knowledge of OCDD, KYC, and screening processes
  • Familiarity with AUSTRAC requirements and AML/CTF obligations
  • Ability to work to deadlines with high attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team

Key Details

  • Contract Length: 6 months
  • Day Rate: $400 (including super)
  • Location: Sydney (hybrid arrangements may apply)
  • Start Date: ASAP - candidates must be available to start within 4 weeks
